Equaria Makes COMEX Debut in Muscat

Singapore Government's Public Service Infrastructure (PSi) and Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS)

As part of the IDA-led contingent to Muscat, Ecquaria made its debut in sharing its e-Government expertise and offerings at COMEX 2010 which opened on 26th April at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.

Besides showcasing their e-Government solutions at COMEX 2010, Ecquaria also participated in the COMEX CIO Forum - Government Focus session for IT managers and professionals to share their strategies and implementation experience in laying the foundational e-Government platform for Singapore e-Government Action Plans I & II.

The Singapore Government's Public Service Infrastructure (PSi) and Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS) are the key flagship e-Government initiatives developed by the company which have garnered international recognition as e-Government best practices.

Recognizing the incremental pace of Oman’s e-government development, Dr Foong Wai Keong, Ecquaria’s President and CEO, noted that opportunities in Oman are promising and that COMEX provides a very good networking platform to understand and to tap on developments in Oman and the region.
