Ecquaria at GITEX 2009 in Dubai

One Platform for One-stop Unified Perspective

Ecquaria returned to GITEX 2009 which took place on 18-22 October 2009, following its debut two years ago in Dubai. The Gulf region's largest ICT event provided the company with a platform to connect with the new vibrant developments in the Middle East as well as to share with partners and customers on the company's latest e-government solutions.

Singapore broke new ground at the recent GITEX 2009 when it became the first and only foreign country to be represented at the inaugural e-Government Hall. Ecquaria is one the Singapore infocomm companies exhibiting at the Infocomm Singapore pavilion at the e-Government Hall.

Ecquaria shared with the Gulf Cooperation Council governments its vision to empower governments to be iGov-ready by providing a unified participatory platform that promotes collaboration to meet the integrated needs of the new Web 2.0 citizenry. 360 was the theme adopted at the company's booth to anchor Ecquaria's innovation and thought leadership with regards to Business, School and Healthcare solutions.

"GITEX is one of the key and targeted platforms for us to introduce and showcase our e-government expertise and implemented projects to the Middle East market," said Dr Foong Wai Keong, President and CEO of Ecquaria. "Being part of the Singapore pavilion, the only foreign country pavilion at the e-Government Hall, is a great advantage to us because we got to meet more targeted visitors."
