Users of the Qatar Government Portal, Hukoomi are greeted with a visually appealing and user-friendly experience for the over 50 e-Services hosted on the portal. These e-Services have recently been enhanced to provide users a smoother and outstanding journey as they navigate and interact online with the Government.
In support of the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology's (ictQATAR) continued efforts in enhancing the e-Services on the Hukoomi portal, Ecquaria successfully completed and launched in October 2010 a host of newly enhanced e-Services covering government documents, service application forms and general information from different e-Service groups.
Contrary to industry skepticism, the implementation took just under 5 months to complete, fulfilling the enhancement scope that includes usability, functionality, and performance tuning based on recommendations from the Hukoomi Usability Findings Report and the ictQATAR e-Service delivery team.
Ecquaria's solution provides a suite of value-added services that addresses critical e-Services fundamentals to achieve an all-rounded e-Service improvement that complies with government best practices.
The host of enhanced 50 e-Services launched includes Resident Permit, Visit Visa, Driving License, Bill Payment, Commercial Registration, Health Card, Traffic Violation, Smart Card, Employment Recruitment and Donation etc.
In 2008, Ecquaria partnered with ictQATAR to launch the Qatar Service Platform (QSP), a centralized e-Government infrastructure that powers the Hukoomi portal today. Hukoomi is the official gateway to information about the State of Qatar.
