Ecquaria Showcases Smarter, Faster, Nearer Gov 2.0 at eGov Global Exchange 2011

Visitors at the Ecquaria booth at the eGov Global Exchange Exhibition 2011 were shown how easy it is for users to create, access, share, store and track apps through enriched visuals and self-service features enabling seamless collaboration and connection.

Ecquaria participated in Singapore’s eGov signature event of the year, showcasing eGovernment applications and solutions, which was held at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 21-24 June 2011. Under the banner of its solution showcase theme “Bringing a Whole New Experience to You – Smarter. Faster. Nearer”, Ecquaria demonstrated the capabilities of its advanced Ecquaria eGov Service Platform and latest features which is powered by its flagship Ecquaria Service-Oriented Platform™ (Ecquaria SOP™) that taps on the social power of different stakeholders to effectively deliver  e-Services or apps  in a smarter, faster and personalized way over multiple channels  including mobile devices.

At the show, Ecquaria shared with delegates its vision and the realizable possibilities for Governments in the Gov 2.0 era to provide a rich social marketplace of Gov apps made freely available for public use. Provided with a unified collaboration platform, citizens and businesses – and governments – can all contribute to the richness of this App marketplace.  Examples demonstrated at its booth included Self-Service Apps, Whole-of-Govt Apps and Web Apps where everyone is empowered to participate in the co-creation process.

eGov Global Exchange 2011 is jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore  (IDA) and attended by some 900 delegates including Ministers, Ambassadors and e-Government practitioners from more than 50 countries to get first-hand view of government infocomm projects implemented in Singapore.
