This National Day is special for Ecquaria as we celebrate the opportunity to participate in transforming the corporate face of the Singapore Government - online version, that is.
Ecquaria is recently awarded the contract to build a gov.sg portal for the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA). The new portal will be positioned as a strategic communications platform for the Singapore Government to communicate, engage and reach out to Singapore citizens, businesses as well as non-residents.

Ecquaria's customer ACRA in CIO 2009 Index for Business Financials in XBRL
In the latest CIO 100 Index for 2009, Ecquaria's customer, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore is recognized for introducing its creative and value-adding IT system, Bizfinx (Business Financials in XBRL), an online service for the business entities to prepare financial statements for annual returns submission.

Ecquaria at inaugural iGov Global Exchange
Ecquaria participated as a key host and exhibitor at Singapore's inaugural iGov Global Exchange which was held in June. The event was organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.

Ecquaria shares its recipe for a successful start-up with Business & Computing Students
"Not all are called to be entrepreneurs" - this statement seems to put a damper on the aspirations of a group of third-year Business and Computing students. This is, however, a nugget of wisdom from the founder of Ecquaria, Dr Foong Wai Keong who was invited to share his entrepreneurial experience at the Nanyang Technological University's School of Computer Engineering in February 2009.

China's Shangdong delegation visits Ecquaria

Ecquaria plays host to eGL delegates from the Third World
As part of Ecquaria's ongoing collaboration with the Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre, eGL, Ecquaria is pleased to play host earlier this year to a group of delegates from various countries such as Tanzania, Grenada, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius, St Lucia to meet and interact with Ecquaria's iGov team to understand e-government solutions delivered to the Singapore government.
