Ecquaria Helps Launch Singapore Government’s New www.gov.sg Portal and iPhone app

The public can now enjoy easy and convenient access to the latest Government news, information and a suite of services across all government agencies, thanks to the newly revamped www.gov.sg portal and its www.gov.sg app for iPhone which were officially launched on 1st June 2010.

Ecquaria is the technology solutions partner for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) in support of the latest efforts by the Singapore Government to enhance its online presence and connect with the public more effectively.

Presented in a refreshing layout and branded with a new tagline "Connecting you with the Government", the new www.gov.sg portal is positioned as a first-stop gateway for citizens to access the latest government news updates and e-services from a single platform.

The transformed portal has a stronger focus on communicating the government news of the day to the public. Citizens will enjoy the convenience of going to just one website for their daily news dosage, or have alerts via Twitter, RSS feeds or email delivered directly to their desktops.

The public can also enjoy the convenience of accessing electronic-services, calendar of government events and directory of contact information from a single platform.

With an increasing number of people accessing news and information on-the-go, the Singapore Government also introduced its new www.gov.sg app for iPhone to extend and complement its online presence. Read more about the launch...
