Singapore (3 Jan 2003) - Ecquaria Limited (www.ecquaria.com), leader in enterprise software architecture, today announced an alliance with KPMG Consulting in Singapore, a provider of management consulting and technology related services, to co-develop and co-market eFIMIS (e-Financial Management Information System) Application Package to clients in the financial services industry. The two companies are working closely to integrate their solutions and services to provide the web-based factoring information system with increased flexibility and effectiveness in operational processes associated with factoring, while reducing costs and complexity.
Together, Ecquaria and KPMG Consulting are enabling companies to significantly enhance the way they conduct their factoring businesses. Through eFIMIS, they are able to access complete end-to-end services to perform Web-based factoring services such as client accounting, customer accounting, debt collection monitoring, computation of charges, inter-factor accounting, generation of management reports. They can look forward to a rapid and successful delivery of timely management information for improved management decision-making in critical areas to their businesses.
eFIMIS helps clients to replace intensive usage of manpower, time and costs spent in operational processes with a streamlined workflow between functional areas, reduced delivery times and improved day-to-day business operations. As it is web-based, it enables companies to reduce associated IT infrastructure and administration costs.
The flexible and extensible architecture of eFIMIS was derived from Ecquaria's enterprise software architecture expertise in combination with KPMG Consulting's information technology consulting services. Ecquaria SOP™ provides KPMG Consulting's FIMIS (Financial Management Information System) solutions with an enterprise software infrastructure to reduce development complexity and the risks of developing the FIMIS solutions for web-based access. Ecquaria SOP™ also provides KPMG Consulting with integrated Web Services development, deployment and management.
"The approach of the alliance involves combining our FIMIS solutions with enterprise infrastructure from Ecquaria. Together with Ecquaria, KPMG Consulting will be able to enhance the experience of the FIMIS users by providing a web-based solution with greater flexibility and efficiency," said Neo Ban Seng, director of KPMG IT Consulting.
"Ecquaria provides a compelling infrastructure which KPMG Consulting can layer their own domain expertise. We are pleased to work with KPMG Consulting to provide our clients with a reliable and flexible e-factoring solution," said Paul Leong, Vice President of Business Development, Ecquaria.
